CARE and FoolProof: An Important Financial Literacy Partnership

CARE's thousands of presenters nationwide personally reach tens of thousands of young consumers each year.  But the tough information we present about the dangers of credit abuse needs to reach many more.

That's why we've partnered with The FoolProof Initiative to offer a web-driven, turnkey, financial literacy program that builds on our presenters' presentations:

+ FoolProof's interactive modules—or lessons—feature young people in dozens of videos.

+ FoolProof's messages are tough.  The messages were written by consumer advocates, not marketers.

+ All FoolProof programs are provided free to anyone by credit unions across America.  But you don't have to be a credit union member to use them.

If you are a teacher: FoolProof for High Schools provides you about ten days of turnkey financial literacy instruction.

If you have high school or college-age kids or grandkids: FoolProof for Parents and Grandparents puts you in charge of those kids' financial education.

If you're college-age: FoolProof Solo puts you in charge of your own financial education.

We believe our partnership with FoolProof offers anyone interested in the prevention of credit abuse an extraordinarily powerful new teaching tool.  For general information about FoolProof, please head here.

Using credit unions as the web hosts, FoolProof currently offers consumers five separate financial literacy and consumer education programs. FoolProof offers tough consumer information, no infomercial!
